This Maximilian hunting, exhibited in the Louvre in Paris, represents the Month of March. The original measures 176x300'. The series of 12 tapestries, woven for Archduke Maximilian after the designs of Pieter Coecke from Aalst and Frans Borremans from Brussels, shows details of Brussels and the Zoniën Forest. To the right the church of Saint Goedele, now the Saint Michael Cathedral. This is a fabulous jacquard is woven in Belgium.
