The Company that I use who prints these panels has been formed to faithfully reproduce historic textiles, be they tapestries, embroidery or jacquard wovens.

The printing technology available allows the company to copy with extraordinary accuracy the patina and colours of these exquisite pieces, and yet to offer the resulting fabrics at affordable prices.

Such is the quality of the printed reproductions that historic houses and museums commission this Company to copy masterpieces to display when the original is unavailable, due either to restoration or on loan to an exhibition.

This picture has been taken from a Mortlake tapestry dating from 1630 to 1649. The tapestry manufactory at Mortlake was set up under James I in 1619 who offered privileges to Flemish weavers prepared to settle in England, and it produced work to equal that of contemporary French and Flemish manufactories.

Designer-Cushions.com are very pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to own your very own masterpieces, they are NOT available in stores, what a fantastic heirloom to be able to pass on through the generations.

You will receive a facing pair (2) 17" square approx accent cushion covers. They have been made from these exquisite masterpieces reproduced on top quality scottish linen. They have been piped and backed in a quality contrasting linen and are zipped for easy removal for cleaning and are fully lined.

I also have the wallhanging available which measures 135cm x 125cm (4'4" x 4'1").
