The Company that I use who prints these panels has been formed to faithfully reproduce historic textiles, be they tapestries, embroidery or jacquard wovens.

The printing technology available allows the company to copy with extraordinary accuracy the patina and colours of these exquisite pieces, and yet to offer the resulting fabrics at affordable prices.

Such is the quality of the printed reproductions that historic houses and museums commission this Company to copy masterpieces to display when the original is unavailable, due either to restoration or on loan to an exhibition.

Venus & Adonis Series of Brussels Tapestries, based on designs by Albano, were commissioned by Sir Robert Walpole for Houghton Hall in Norfolk during the remodelling of the house in the 1720's and 30's. They were designed to hang in the Green Velvet Bedchamber whose colour was particularly associated with both Venus, and sleep.

Designer-Cushions.com are very pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to own your very own masterpieces, they are NOT available in stores, what a fantastic heirloom to be able to pass on through the generations.

You will receive one 17" square approx accent cushion covers. It has been made from these exquisite masterpieces reproduced on top quality scottish linen. It has been piped and backed in a quality contrasting linen and is zipped for easy removal for cleaning and is fully lined.

I also have the wallhanging available which measures 135cm x 195cm (4'5" x 6'4").
